i actually liked it since its very Givency-esque but i saw Mike's eyes lit up upon seeing this so i gave it to him. win! ang bait ko talaga. lulz!

SO TODAY IS EARTH DAY... and a better way to celebrate it is by participating the wonderful effect of consumerism and recycling... whatever effect it is, i am pretty sure that its all for the best. Well , actually, i din't know that it was Earth day today until an announcer in the radio shared about it in a bus ride going to Cubao.

Knowing that i have a shitload of unfolded , unused, unironed and untouched clothes on my closet , i am still painfully itching to buy some stuff...so I texted Mike and he asked if i wanna go boy hunting. chos. thrift shopping rather. and i said yes! I LOVE MIKE.. he is truly a friend. I dint mention that i wanted to shop but there's this thin yet clear connection between the two of us that makes us understand each other real well.

and since its shopping, we invited JP Singson! the hot fashionista with a large biceps and a shitload of rick owens! yep thats him. He was featured on Garage magazine April Issue and true enough he is a man of style..

Philippines may be facing a lot of chaos and mishap right now , but one of the things that makes me proud to be in this country is our thrift stores... Ive been receiving e-mails and comments from chictopia or lookbook or wherever on how envious those blonde british babes are whenever i proudly advertise my thrifted stuffs.. haha! thats a third world country for you!


and Mr JP SINGSON who occasionally travels from south to north shared the not-so-exciting- conditions of thrift stores in Europe.

for others, friendship ends when shopping starts.. but for us, we see to it that we recommend garment after garment to one another.. asking for permission to buy that great find without compromising the feelings of the other. thats the ethics of shopping.

and what i love about thrift stores is that it constantly reminds one that he is LUCKY.. isnt it true? that unearthing something in a thrift store that you really covet is all about luck? GO ask Mike about it.

I hate Mike for always spotting a nice f DROP CROTCH PANTS... sabagay.. most of the stuff i bought today are my staple drapey coats eh. but still! The shopping gods are always on his side. Jp was also happy with his loots. Muntik na silang magsapakan ni Mike over the polka dotted drop crotch pants.. i kid! hehe.. well , almost! hahaha


and here's what i bought in a small stall beside the street going to Anonas. I bought each for 25 pesos. third world budget, i know! one day id be able to afford those Margiela accessories that those European fashionistas wear and they'll all die with envy. haha! for now, let me boast

i cant wait to cinch this belt over a black top.. hihi.

good thing we dropped by the 4th floor.. it was full of toys! my heart skipped upon seeing THOMAS THE TRAIN toys! my nephew loves thomas.. in fact, he thinks his name is thomas. I bought three so i wont feel guilty of oversatisfying my lil selfish self. haha . kidding! I may be spending too much for myself but Im young, single and im 22 and i think its okay.. also, i think im innately good.am i thoughtful or am i thoughtful?

and im pretty sure that when i die, ill go to heaven.. oh whatever..
