This post is long overdue. Im still on turbo blogging mode and i have a lot to catch up with. This is like finishing a thesis paperand im like 4 days late lol. well not really.
So it was my 2nd day on vacation leave and Mike invited me to come with him and Don Protasio for some shopping. Gelo was there too. We all met at Shangrila for lunch. ..and yeah! Pepper Lunch was the place to be. Ive been painfully craving for their chicken pepper rice for days already and it was the perfect timing. After eating lunch, Gelo and I watched as Don and Mike exchanged gifts with each other. Its definitely a no ordinary gift giving since the clothes are all designer..a tee from Bernard Wilhem , a shirt from Comme des Garcon, Margiela and the likes...
As planned , we went to Melissa Dizon's Eairth Showroom at Makati. Ive never been there and it was a dream come true..The place was cozy not to mention the oddly fragrant smell of the shop as well. Every rack is filled with lust-worthy clothes. Clothes that i only see in Preview magazine editorials.
Ive always been a fan of Melissa's RTW line. Its fuss-free, sex simple and raw. Plus she's a style icon and style icons feed me down to the last mitochondrion living inside my cell. Chos. Meeting her is surreal. She said my talon rings were cute and she tried it on. Then I remembered her asking me if the ring is made of silver and i said its just a cheap find in a bazaar. She might have not gotten "it" if i told her that i bought it in Victory Mall in Caloocan. hahaha kaya bazaar na lang kuno haahaha.
I found this white top from their Spring 2009 collection on the sale rack. haha. but of course! Actually, ive anticipated that i wont be buying any single piece since i know the price range is not within my means but the top was undeniably reasonable.and its EAIRTH ,no! . nuff said...and i need a pure unadulterated white crispy top . yes. this is definitely a must have!
While i savored the moment of bein able to find a lucky piece, Don on the other hand was busy trying on heaps of Eairth pieces. He bought like 5 stuff i think.
We enjoyed our shopping. Thanks to Paul, the uber nice curator of the shop. chos. see u soon , Madam. and to Melissa, i'll see you again and i love you!
