I got this dress 2 days before Halloween since it speaks volume about the late Klaus Nomi. I was torn between dressing up as Sid Vicious and Klaus Nomi but I opted to choose Sid since its more.. erm friendly and approachable. I have already expected that this is gonna constrict like a Herve Leger bodycon , not that I've tried one , and surprisingly it felt good. I always wear languid pieces, almost drape-like in nature. It's silhouette and precise ease are its ostentation at the very least and it came to me that I somehow need to try on structured clothes too before i hit 30. Structured yet lording with a minimalist aesthetic can be very commanding and intimidating, no? But its a dog-eat-dog world out there and one must stay strong at least in clothes.

As the year ends, i ask what the future holds for me in terms of my taste in clothes and the likes. Don't get me wrong, its not like i am over-analyzing the matter like a brain surgeon but rather like a kid who is curious of how babies are made. Take it from me, who within a year, has shifted the preferences from glam rock to organic and raw... from black and spikes to cotton and cheesecloth.

  10. do you know i also archive old jil sander pieces aside from helmut lang, ann dem, etc? the rigorous simplicity achieved through complex reduction of how it's patterned betrays the cerebral workings of a genuis' mind. i do love what raf simons has been doing and how he updated the dna of the house but i'm still amazed what jil sander has put out there. i always feel humbled whenever i study her constructions. simply modern.
