Still without sleep from my graveyard shift in the hopsital, I went with Ally Duazo to Marikina to check the shoes I designed for Gold Dot for our collab with Don Protasio's S/S 2012. It was supposed to be presented here in Manila but due to schedule conflicts , he will be showing his collection in Cambodia instead so
mas class. haha. I nearly cried when I saw the shoes came to life. I designed it without any pegs in mind. I was thinking about water buffalos and nomads and platforms and I came up with 3 designs. Ally designed 1 pair coherent with what I designed and its fit for the ladies. I love the visit. Ally introduced me to the workers and suppliers. I get the chance to see how a pair is done and god it takes a lot to create a pair. Shame on those people who question the necessity of a good shoes. I'm so excited to be in this path! We had a small meeting and to be honest I am more excited than scared with this new chapter. haha. I am so loving my life even more.
