a very cold weather welcomed me on a wednesday morning.. For some weird reason, ive always loved wednesday. maybe coz im a middle child, i enjoy the "middles".. i'm fond of middle names too and bein midway when it comes to style and gender .. oh whatever!

the cold morning dictated me to eat like a pig. Seeing our new microwave gave me that instant giddy feeling coz cooking abhors me...

there was this one time that i cooked fried chicken for the family.. just the chicken and the flour.. no flavors, pepper, salt or whatsoever.. i swear, the horrible face my dad did eons ago remained unforgettable and haunting.

so there, i grabbed the last 3 pairs of sandwiches with a spoonful of butter and mayo (i repeat: SPOONFUL) and placed it on our Corelle plate in fear that using a plastic plate might burn the whole thing.
after 3 minutes, i was extremely horrified..i don't get it , i just put it on medium heat.

I believe that this was the sign GOD and the universe gave me that i shant eat breakfast... (i repeat: unhealthy breakfast , that is)
so i just read the Vogue September issue that i kept in my secret drawer... it fed me..

the bread of life..

i enjoyed reading a feature about PAT MCGRATH... i was so inspired since shes a self taught artist and that makes it all the more interesting.

i went to the grocery with my aunt coz our stocks are getting fewer and fewer everyday. living with 4 men in the house makes it challenging to keep 4 grocery bags in 2 days.

i love it when its cold.. putting on a cardigan doesnt look overkill and theres no such thing as overlayering... too bad the lighting is so dim that even i switched the ISO at 1600, still its really gloomy. i feel like im in Ontario haha.

i love the muted colors versus the random splatter of this diy jeans my friend IAN made for me.. the juxtaposition of the colors still works. ALSO, i reinvented these wedge booties by putting a black socks over it as advised by my friend MIKE.. it instantly looked like CHARLES GUISLAIN'S ACNE WEDGES.. hehe

happy weekend!

  3. love the construction and layers so much, especially that cord. ahh it's like how some bloggers fake thigh high boots with thigh high socks.

maybe you used the wrong setting on the microwave?
