We've heard of minimalism a lot of times already. I think it's one of the most mentioned word in every fashion magazine, blog, collection description, on style.com, everywhere. It's beginning to be a lot like Adele's Someone like you. A sign that it might work for a longer period. Or is it already becoming the new staple. Austere.. Necessary. Distilled.

Minimalism may be an excuse to limit the creative energy or output involved. It can be an avenue to be as straightforward as possible. Like telling a person how ugly her hair looks without batting an eyelash. No beating around the bush. "Make it boxy and clean. No lining and buttons. Just clean. Calvin Klein clean. No!! ...what about Margiela clean. Is Margiela ever clean?"

Like the word beautiful, minimalism may connote differently to anyone. It's definitely not about being lazy to dress up and voila, "I imbibe minimalism". For me, it is more of the appreciation of the things that most people wouldn't notice. i consider minimalists to have this higher power in expressing themselves too. It may not necessarily be the luxurious kind that the label Celine emanates. It's about presenting your clothes and most importantly, yourself as well to the world.. After all, we can survive a day with just one bangle in our left arm , right?
