Been there. Done that. We've seen it all. At least. However someone out there will always break that box and offer a novelty piece. It uplifts my soul and morale whenever a Filipino designer let alone a friend brings something new to the market. Meet Miadore's S/S 2012 Collection!
When modernity nowadays is being defined by unusual elements e.g. PVC, Acrylic, plastic, glass , steel , it is a challenge to devote a collection towards that direction while grasping the essence of your brand. Yekky Balingit of Miadore braved the tides of trends with his showstopping pieces.
Dramatic, young, and fresh plus innovative. Yekky showcased his creative panache by building a different story to each piece. There was a wide range of designs. From the minimalistic glass-like cuffs and bib neckpieces the size of a plate to unique aztec and geometric mirror acrylic neckpieces.
