Vania Romoff Spring/ Summer 2013

The first time I've seen  Vania Romoff's collection was  during the first PEFTA in 2010. Right then and there, the audience captured her ethos which strongly portrays fluidity and femme. She celebrates her beauty by sharing it through the dresses that she creates,  making use of the haute couture blood she inherited from her family. One of the reasons why I'm excited to attend PFW is Vania. The pieces emanated  with grace that is not grand nor excessive. It was romantic but it was tastefully restrained at a certain gauge. I was so lucky to see up-close all the micro details from my seat. Thank you , Vania for bringing Paris here in MNL!!

love this functional dress. a pocket randomly  hidden in the seam! brilliant...just brilliant. There is something mannish with the "hands-inside-the-pocket" , reminiscent to YSL / margiela.

the philosophy of this piece is interesting. It's like a maneuvered shirt unintentionally turned into an off-shouldered dress. The bell sleeves provided an impact to the overall construction.
