LOOKBOOK / stiff + soft
I wrote a blog entry of YVONNE LAUFER'S first collection last year because I was blown away with her talent in composing pieces that were perused with science and intellect. MUUSE informed me of Yvonne's new collection: VOID II . This time, a shift in paradigm transpired in terms of surface , silhouette and color. The soft chalky pastels seamlessly perfected the tripolar mix of crepe, silk and cotton. It mainly focused on the slow fluid movement of melting and its effect on matter which is beautiful. I'm having a white moment this summer but hazy colors like pistachio green , talc blue and mint wont hurt. I'm so honored to be able to get the intimate with Yvonne's design process.
