OUTFIT / missing DIY

Back in my DIY days , i used to manipulate the clothes I buy from thrift stores. I understand why many people love DIYS. It gives them a sense of control and power (like S&M )that you can alter and enhance a basic something. But the problem with my DIY's is that my works are kinda raw and dirty and after washing them , they changed in quality making it a disposable kind of article. But these pants i wore  (from my 2009 archives) can be worn over and over again without losing its state. I ripped the edges and sealed it with fabric paint. i couldnt remember why I came up with painting the frayed edges and  it looked  graphically appealing like a scab in the wound. yum!
