its the time of the year when people like me would file a 2 day vacation leave just to witness the most festive event in the fashion scene...
i had it planned already coz i swore to myself that im really gonna watch some of the shows and given that being a blogger became a grand avenue for me to at least make friends to some designers. I understand how attending their show means to them and im ever willing to be part of it. I filed my vacation leave on the 27th knowing that one of my fave designer DON PROTASIO will be having his show on that said date.

I arrived at SMX earlier than expected. Punctual is the new grand entrance , i must say. The early birds get the best seats but some are exempted especially if youre Daryl Chang or the mother of the designer or best if you happen to be ANNA WINTOUR.

Upon arriving , I had a little chat with designer Levenson Rodriguez at the lobby. I was so kilig when he asked me if I was KARL.Then he gave me a calling card asking me to recommend some photographers for his upcoming project. I dint know he knows me until today.

Meeting Don in person was surreal. I was about to go to the washroom then suddenly, some tall chinese-looking guy called my name. I squinted for a second for the fact that my eyes are failing me already and i was wearing this very heavy false eyelashes. Surprisingly , that guy was DON. haha..


The show today was VISIONS AND TRENDS featuring 10 designers i guess. My top 3 is DON PROTASIO, NORMAN NORIEGA AND PATRICK GALANG. I apologize for grabbing runway photos from other people since my camera is acting up. God, everytime i press that button, everything turned out blurry.

After the show, Don invited us for a lil show and tell about his collection with the gang and Miguel Celestial of EL BOSQUEJO...it was really a privilege..

I really had fun today... Thanks to Gelo, Mike , Yekky and the gang =p
